These 5 New Zealand insects were collected in the 1920's and 1930's and bought to London's Natural History Museum. They are examples of gigantism in New Zealand insects and the Giant Weta is the heaviest insect in the world, evolving in the complete absence of mammals. Almost other-worldly when enlarged, I make 2 sizes of prints - either the largest 60 x 40 inch size or the smallest contact prints 5 x 7 inch.
