This series was taken around Big Sur and 'The Window to the West' in the Ventana Wilderness in California. The San Andreas fault line runs through this area along the coast from San Francisco to LA. The chance of a large, distructive earthquake hitting this region within the next 20 years is estimated at over 90%.
